Logan/Gold Coast Faster Rail FEB 2026

Site investigation activities continue through February and March in and around the rail corridor.

Field Offices for construction workers are continuing to be established adjacent to the rail corridor, including Logan River Road and James Street in Beenleigh and in Mary Street in Kingston.

In addition works will be undertaken on establishing site office facilities at Kingston, Bethania, Edens Landing and Beenleigh as part of preparing for major construction later in 2026.

These works will involve vegetation clearing, demolishing existing structures if required, building construction and fit-out, hardstand construction, concreting works and services connection and fencing works.

The car park at the corner of James Street and Victoria Street, Beenleigh will be closed permanently.
