Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has left its mark on the Gold Coast. Operation Clean Up is now underway, and we’re working hard to get our city back to normal.

                                                                                                                                       

       
DEALING WITH DISASTER WASTE
Everyone  has been affected differently by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.                Please do not leave any rubbish or green waste on your kerbside.  Here are a few free waste disposal options available                 
                                   
  • Use your residential bins for general waste, including food or                     perishable items ready for your next scheduled collection.                
          
                  
  • Order an additional Flexiskip kerbside collection bag for disaster-related waste (eligible for most Gold Coast residents).*                
          
                                           
              
  • Small businesses assisting with the removal of disaster green waste can      dispose of it for free at Molendinar, Reedy Creek and Stapylton Waste and Recycling Centres.*                
          
                                  
  • All waste and recycling centres are now open except for Jacobs Well Waste and Recycling Centre and   both Stradbroke Island Waste and Recycling Centres.
