New Beenleigh Station

An overview of the new station

The new Beenleigh station will be located approximately 650m north of the existing location. It will be between Zander and Victoria streets, near the Town Square and Magistrates Court. 

The new location positions the station closer to key community facilities, and away from flood prone areas.   Design updates include:

• the location allows for construction of the new station ‘offline’ while keeping the existing station open. 
• improved walking connections between the station and local destinations, and nearby amenities including Beenleigh Town Square, Beenleigh Library, Beenleigh State School and businesses
• a new multi-storey park ‘n’ ride with approximately 600 car parks provided and a bus interchange facility at the station.

The intersections of George and Zander streets, as well as George Street, Boundary Street and Logan River Road will be upgraded and signalised to improve local connectivity and access to the station.
